Don’t you just love Math Halloween Crafts?!
They can be so cute and have so many varieties to choose from. But of course, we need to think of practicing some math, so the combination of Math Halloween Crafts are the best.
Even though Halloween is just a one day holiday, the holiday vibes start all from the first of October.
Instead of worrying students getting distracted from the holiday, why not channel them to the math lesson with Math Halloween Crafts?
This year, 2024, I created 15 cute math crafts that you can use for this holiday. To be upfront with you, you will just need to buy 4 math resources to get all these 15 cute characters.
Okay, without further ado, let’s take a look at these fifteen math Halloween crafts for 2024.
1) Friendly Ghost Craft
This ghost craft comes with 2 Ghost Body Templates and 2 different types of eyes for you to choose from.
There are 4 question sheets & worksheets (16 Word Problems) pre-made for you, with an answer key for references.
These are the math skills:
- 4-digit Addition With Regrouping Word Problems
- 4-digit Subtraction With Regrouping Word Problems
- 2-Step Word Problems
- Multiplicative Comparison 2-Step Word Problems
You can use this for the Halloween season or as a supplement activity to accompany the children’s book read aloud, “Gustavo the Shy Ghost” by Flavia Z. Drago. Or for any ghost related story.
The best part about this is I included an editable option for you! This way you can edit the questions to customize them for your class. You can use them for any subjects and topics that you want.
2) Spider Math Craft
Another similar craft to the one above is this Spider Math Craft.
This engaging resource includes a total of 10 word problems, complete with an answer key for easy reference.
This Spider Math Craft Template Printable for Halloween includes 9 templates in the PowerPoint slides, offering endless possibilities.
This craft can be used for:
- Supplement activity to supplement the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” nursery rhyme.
- Spider-themed books like “Charlotte’s Web” or “The Very Busy Spider”.
- Lessons about arachnids, habitats, and the life cycle of spiders.

This craft includes small and big spiders, ready-made templates and diy templates.
Save time and ink with these blackline templates. No more coloring huge areas!

The next 6 math halloween crafts are included in the Arrays And Repeated Addition 2nd Grade product listing.
3) Eyes Array Potion
The potion craft has 6 templates.
For the ready-made and DIY template with the big eyes, you can choose to cut out the potion and paste on a colored paper or simply cut away the slip with the eyes.
You don’t have to use all the eyes. Instead, maybe you would like your students to create different arrays to display the different possibilities.
I included eyes on the grid so that students don’t have to cut each eye individually. Instead, they can just cut the grid with the eyes they need and paste on the potion.
The eyes on the grid are smaller so if you are looking to create bigger arrays, this set may be more useful.
Alternative ways to use this potion craft:
- Draw different eyes or ingredients to form arrays.
- Just cut out the potion and write a message on the potion bottle.
- You can cut the mouth and place it on the potion to make it scarier.
4) Multi-Eyes Monster Craft
There are 6 templates including the same eyes template from the Eyes Array Potion for this multi-eyes monster craft.
You can decide if you want to place the eyes in the same direction or face differently.
Similarly, you can choose not to use all the horns or place it at other places.
Alternative ways to use this multi-eyes monster craft:
- Draw your own unique eyes or mouths.
- Draw your own facial features on the monster.
- Write questions on the body of the monster.
5) Monster Treats Craft
There are 7 templates for this monster treats craft, including the 2 sets of ingredients for the cauldron craft.
Alternative ways to use this monster treats craft:
- Use the previous multi-eyes monster craft instead of the monster in this template.
- Draw your own unique eyes or mouths.
- Draw your own facial features on the monster.
- Write questions on the tray.
6) Cauldron Craft
There are 5 templates for this cauldron craft.
Similarly, for this craft, you can write your own questions or messages in the cauldron instead of using the pre-made ingredients.
The set of ingredients are different from the Monster Treats Craft. So use the one that you need.
7) Big Haunted House Craft
There are 7 templates, including 2 premade grids that act as the windows.
There is an uncut grid that you can decide for yourself the arrays that you need.
Alternatively, you can just use the pre-cut grid.
I decided to use a grid instead of squares so that it is easier to visualize and save time on cutting and pasting.
However, if you prefer to have individual squares, you can ask students to cut them from a yellow colored paper and paste them on the house.
This haunted house craft includes empty templates without labels. This means you can also use this for other purposes too.
8) 3 Haunted Houses
This craft includes 3 side-by-side houses that you can just cut them out as a whole. This means students can practice the math skills three times!
Alternatively, you can cut them as individual houses and rearrange them as you like.
Then, you can arrange them in a row to form a street of houses. These make great additions to Halloween bulletin boards or any classroom display.
I included one with a background so there is a haunted atmosphere.
There are templates with white houses so you can color and decorate them as you like. There are also black houses to save time on coloring large areas.
You’ll find three worksheets to accompany these activities.
The haunted house floor plan worksheets come in 2 versions. One with the given arrays and one without. If you love the above 6 math crafts, remember that you can get them in this Arrays And Repeated Addition 2nd Grade product listing.
Halloween Multiplication Craft
The next 7 math craft can be found in this Halloween Multiplication Craft product listing.
I’m quite happy with how they turn out to be.
They are all really cute if I have to say so myself.
This resource has 3 types: Blackline, Black and White, and Colored.
- Blackline templates are outlines that students color in completely.
- Black and white templates have big black parts already filled in. Kids only color the other colors. This helps to reduce coloring time and I like to use them. For example, grim reaper, vampire, bat, and black cat.
- Colored templates are already colored, requiring no coloring from students.
You can match the 7 Halloween crafts with 11 multiplication question templates – multiplication of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 2 to 5, and 6 to 9.
These questions offer multiple approaches to multiplication practice.
This variety ensures students can solidify their understanding of the concept.
Plus, this time round, I added Halloween decorations around the question templates’ borders to enhance the festive atmosphere.
Though the 7 craft toppers are meant to match with the premade multiplication question templates, you can always use them to match with other worksheets or simply use them as cute Halloween bulletin board decorations.

15) Witch Craft
This easy-to-make witch craft is perfect for young witches-in-training.
The witch wears a magic hat with a star pattern, which you can match with the other characters if you’d like.
Let’s conjure up some crafty fun!
