Step 2: Print the pdf template.
In the printable template, there are 3 different math skills: dividing fractions, percentage change, and substitution in algebra.
Print all 6 pages as one-sided pages if you plan to use all of them.
For my primary 5 students who are learning primary 6 topics – percentage change and evaluating expression using substitution, I print double-sided for page 5 and 7.
Step 3: Solve the questions.
To find percentage change, use the formula:
Percentage change = (Difference/Original) x 100%.
In this worksheet, the original is always the value in November.
An example is given below.
Step 4: Color the ornaments!
Step 5: Cut it out!
Step 6: Fold along the bold lines.
Step 7: Glue and paste the flap of the correct answer.
Students need to match the question with the ornament of the corresponding answer.
To prevent sticky fingers, ask students to glue on the worksheet.
However, as the rectangle is a bit small, students may apply glue outside the rectangle.
Just avoid pasting the whole piece down and open the flap till it dries to avoid sticking them.
Alternatively, students can just risk getting their fingers sticky and glue the small rectangle on the pieces.
